fusion freezes whenever i try to boundary fill

i am trying to fill an empty volume within an object using the boundary fill function, however as soon as i press okay after assigning my tools and cells the app freezes, and most of the time i cannot exit out of the app, I have to restart my whole computer for it to close.  Are there any particular reasons for this?  I have followed along the same methods as how-to videos for the boundary fill command, but is there something I may not be doing right?

Please attach your model so the Forum users can take a look for you.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
