Fusion fails to post when saving to Haas local net share

Anonymous
Not applicable

This issue started occurring a few weeks ago after a Windows and Fusion 360 update.

I have Local Net Share on my Haas VF2 enabled, and I have it mapped to a drive letter in Windows. I can navigate all the folders no problem in File Explorer.

When I post with the save directory being the Haas Share (Mapped drive), Fusion fails to post. The post doesn't ever happen. It doesn't save a 1001.nc.failed, it doesn't open the text editor, nothing.

This is very frustrating since it used to work without issue just a few weeks ago!

Anyone else having this issue? How can I fix this?

This is a known issue. Current workarounds:
1) Use NC Programs to post out your code

2) Create a sub-folder on that drive location and post to that, transfer the file after posting

3) Create a sub folder, set that as default location. At posting time, select the top level and post to that.

I am experiencing this too, I cannot post to a Raspberry Pi I am using as a sort of NAS for my Siemens control. If I create a subfolder it will work, but I cannot post into the root location ("Z"). Previously it would allow me to do this without issue, but now it just doesn't do anything, no error, just closes the post processor window but nothing was posted.
