Sujay D'souzaI was having a very similar issue to this where I could not launch Fusion. I would get the splash screen then nothing after that except a blank white window that was minimized in the task bar and which i was unable to switch to. I had tried everything suggested elsewhere for this issue - repairing, reinstalling, updating drivers etc... but simply right clicking on the preview window and manually maximizing it as you suggested got it to finally work again. I still have to do this every time on launch but at least it's usable.
