Fusion crashing on opening of file

Fusion crashed and on reopening the same file it crashes again.

It's this one: https://a360.co/3gYRSvF .

I can open the previous version but would of course prefer not to lose the work since..

Any solutions?

I have submitted crash reports in each case.

Hi,

I can reproduce the crash and from my end it's hard to say what the root cause is, or how to work around it.

Logically, if a previous version opens, and the current version does not, it must be related to the difference in the designs and that comes down to what steps you are taking in the model. Just a suggestion: If you know what those are, and can do alternate steps/workflow, it may help.

However, if you can also reply and list or describe the workflow steps it might help Fusion developers avoid this problem in the future.

In general, using Mesh, there are expensive operations. Move is one. Also, it always helps to simplify meshes as much as possible. If you can avoid the extra triangles by simplifying the mesh, it helps for performance. Since I cannot open the mesh there is no way to confirm if this relates to the crash.

Is it possible for you to post the earlier version you can open?

In the mean time, I've logged this case and asked for help.

Thanks,

Thanks for taking a look ☺️ .

Yes, I was moving a large mesh.

I will try to work from the pervious step, carefully, and get back to you if not possible. Thanks for filing the bug too, I hope it gets fixed.
