Fusion Crash when changing scale and font size in Drawings

Wondering if anyone else has this happen. I'll be working on a drawing... does not matter if it's a new one, and old one, and unsaved one, a saved one... if I go to change the scale of the drawing, or the font size, it's like a 50/50 chance the program locks up.

It's been like this for years for me. Happened on all three of my computers. It just happened again so figured I'd check and see if anyone else has this or a work around. I captured a screenshot of it locked up. Below you can see the cursor is next to the 3 in 3:1 in the scale dialog box. I just changed that from 1 to 3 and before the part could change to reflect this, it locked up. Only thing I can do is to force close fusion. This happens to me when changing font size too within the drawing space. It feels like a 50/50 shot of it locking up. it's probably closer to a 20/80... just feels like it happens all the time.

It's a real bummer when I forget to save and have to completely remake the drawing.

Hi Shai,

Great to hear that the issue is not reproducible now. The dump files help a lot for issue investigation and fixing. Thanks for your great support.

Still a problem for me, even after the most recent updates. Just did it again.

Same situation here. After last updates this crash has become less prevalent but it still happens from time to time. Previously it would crash quite often when setting up a new base view or during editing some object properties. This time it crashed during copy-paste operation.

I have made four prints today. It crashed two out of the four, so 50% today. Both times when I switched the scale of the model. Both times, I created a drawing from the design workspace, the dialog box to place the initial model on the drawing is up, I go over and switch the scale, and it locks up immediately. But two times it did not. I don't get it, I don't understand it, but man is it frustrating.

Hi ARTHUR-HM and Naureka,

Sorry to hear that the issue still happens in your side. We made some improvement from user's dump files, which was to reduce the frequency of this issue. The final solution is still WIP.  Internal tickets are FDWG-18336 and FDWG-18337.

Can you pls create mini dump files from both AcCoreConsole.exe and Fusion.exe (open process-explorer along with Fusion, then create dump files when issue happens), and share the files? You can also send them via mail. My mail address is 'Liang.chen@autodesk.com'. Thanks for your suport.

It happened again just now...

It was working without issues for many weeks until today.

I havent done many drawings lately (so cant be 100% sure)

but my first quess would be that something happened with the latest update.

I'm getting the same error but on Chromebooks.  I teach manufacturing in a high school and my students have started having this problem happen sporadically for some of them.

These are chromebooks so I don't think we can update the graphics cards.

We use Fusion Online which as far as I'm aware basically run a virtual machine from Autodesk.

They have no peripherals other than the occasional mouse.

Usually the issue resolves itself by the next day.  But that means that instructional day is wasted.

I tried clearing their cache on chrome but that doesn't help.

We soft reset the Chromebook, doesn't help.

Close the tabs and restart Chromebook, doesn't help.

Even through all these steps, as soon as we log in again, the screen goes straight to the drawing tab, without even waiting for us to load the file, and is stuck on the same screen.

Help please.

Still get these crashes every now and then, I just had one for changing the scale on a text box that I hadn't even typed in yet. Worth noting that I'm now on a completely new laptop with fresh install of everything. Only just read about downloading process explorer as suggested by liang_chen, so I'll do that and provide data next time.
