Fusion 360 won't start on Acer Tavelmate i7/16GB laptop if external monitors/dock connected

Hi,

Fusion 360 works fine on my Travelmate laptop  P614-51GG2 (i7-10510U, 16GB) when running on builtin display with no external monitors connected.

If I connect external monitors, or hub, and am running 2 or more monitors, Fusion 360 doesn't start at all.

I've tested this quite a few times.

I've also ensured that it's not starting on a monitor that I'm not connected to. I can see all connected monitors that are shown in control panel-> display, and I do not have this problem with any other application.

Can you please advise how to resolve?  I have a Dell 43" monitor I use, but I have to unplug it every time I start fusion. Once fusion has started, I can reconnect the external monitor, and all is good...

Cheers + thanks

Scott..

Not being in front of your computer makes it tough to analysis.  I will take a guess at it.  If your computer has an installed graphics card as well as a built-on graphic chip on the motherboard, you need to make sure that Fusion 360 is using the graphics card.  Take a look at your Graphics Diagnostic and make sure, if not run your graphic card configuration app and assign it to Fusion 360.
