Fusion 360 won't start again after rebooting PC

Today Feb 25, 2022 my Fusion 360 starts, but goes away.

It's completely unresponsive to mouse clicks and keyboard; it just goes away.

This same thing happened a few days ago, but came back to life after a Windows 11 update. I checked for any updates today, there is none, and I rebooted it. after several attempts I gave up.

Please help.

@bamenabar Is this exiting to desktop as soon as you launch Fusion 360? We are seeing a select few customers on windows 11 with similar issues. If we can have a couple of things from your side that would be great.

1. Check to see if adexmtsvc.exe is running in the background. If it is can you close this and then try to start Fusion 360? Is that helping?

2. Quick check to make sure that your graphics drivers are update to date will help.

3. if you disconnect internet, does Fusion start successfully? If it does when you plug it back on (as Fusion is running) what happens?

Hi there. Thank you for your quick response.
Let me answer your questions one by one:

*Q:* " Is this exiting to desktop as soon as you launch Fusion 360? "
*A:* YES

*Q:* "1. Check to see if adexmtsvc.exe is running in the background. If it
is can you close this and then try to start Fusion 360?"
*A:* How do I check if adexmtsvc.exe is running?

*Q:* "2. Quick check to make sure that your graphics drivers are update to
date will help."
*A:* How do I do that?...in the Device Manager?

*Q:*"3. if you disconnect internet, does Fusion start successfully? If it
does when you plug it back on (as Fusion is running) what happens?
*A:* It works normally, but after I switch to other tasks, like responding
to an email, Fusion turns itself off. When I restart it, it fails again.
Unless I disconnect from the internet and everything starts all over again.
As soon as I switch to another program Fusion turns itself off again.

Thank you in advance for your help

@bamenabar Apologies for the late reply.

How do I check if adexmtsvc.exe is running?
Launch Fusion 360 and let it crash. Now go to windows task manager and adexmtsvc is running in the task manager.

Fusion 360 deployed an update 2.0.12665 yesterday that has the fix for the launch issue on Windows 11 discussed in this thread. You should be able to live update to this build without any issues and moving forward when we push out updates, there should be no problems to launch Fusion 360.

Please reach out if you continue to see launch issues.

YES, It's working correctly now!!!

Thank you, very much for finding a solution to this problem.

The only way that I was able to make it work was by starting it disconnected from the internet (WIFI), and after it was running, I would turn on the connection to the internet.

👏👏👏
