Fusion 360 Won't open local machine prompt

I am using Autodesk Fusion 360 version 2.0.11186 and I have a Personal license. I am running Windows 10. There are some functions in Fusion 360 which opens a prompt for access to my local machine (my computer). Some of those functions are to export, insert canvas, import files (I have to import using the web interface), etc. Those functionality should be opening a prompt so I can browse my files on my local machine. However, whenever I use that functionality, nothing happens. It doesn't prompt me with my file system and I don't even get a visible error. Nothing happens. It doesn't crash because I can use other functionality afterwards. This issue began after I re-installed Fusion 360. It was previously working before I re-installed it.

I have tried running Fusion 360 with administrative privileges. I have tried re-installing. Neither things seems to work.

One thing I want to mention is that I have two storage devices (SSD and HDD). Fusion 360 is installed on my SSD (Drive C://) and all my system folders (Documents, Downloads, Pictures, etc) are on my HDD (Drive D://). I am not sure if this could be related. However, this is the same setup I had back when it was working (before I re-installed). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the problem in this post where the last directory you saved to is no longer available. If you don't fancy trying the fix in that post a clean uninstall using the tool here should fix it as well.

Thank you so much! That worked. I tried the fix which was to edit the %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\NMachineSpecificOptions.xml file and remove the line with text: LastDirectoryOptionId. It was in fact pointing to a location which no longer existed. Deleting that line from the file, saving the file, and restarting Fusion 360 has fixed the issue.
