Fusion 360 will not export .stl to Simplify3D all of a sudden

Over the past few days, I've suddenly been unable to generate an .stl from Fusion 360.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting!

I'm sorry to hear about this issue! Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce this behavior on my machine. This leads me to believe that the issue might be specific to your design. Is it just one design that you are unable to save as an STL or are you getting that error message in every design that you are try to save as an STL?

If it is only happening in one design, would you mind sharing the design with me? The article linked here describes the many ways that you are able to share your designs with others for collaboration. For the purposes of troubleshooting this issue, I would recommend sharing a public link to the design. This will allow me to download and make modifications to the design here on my end while leaving it intact within your project.

For now, could you try exporting the STL for the design directly from your hub? To do this, navigate to myhub.autodesk360.com and sign into your Autodesk account. Next, navigate to the design through your project's hierarchy and click it to open the design's details. Once that page appears you should see a little downwards pointing arrow (image below for clarification) that should allow you to download an STL of the design.

I hope this helps! Thanks in advance for the information and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - I am always happy to lend a hand!

Cheers,
