Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue! Just to check - is this your first time installing Fusion 360? To diagnose this further, I'm going to have to take a peek at your Application Log file and your Installation Log File. You can find both of those on your computer by following the steps in this guide here. For the Application Log file, I will just need the most recent one (as there will probably be multiple in your folder).

Thanks!

Hi, thank you for your response! Could you try adding the following addresses to your browser's trusted websites, and then re-launching Fusion 360?

https://ui-dls360.autodesk.com/fusion/version.txt

https://ui-dls360.autodesk.com/fusion/maintenace_services.txt

Please let me know if this helps!

Hi @benko.igor1,

Could you try opening a browser window and copy/pasting those URL's into the address bar, and then "Always trust" the associated certificates? If this doesn't work, could you take a screenshot of the resulting web page for each URL and attach them here?

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hey I have the same issue and I am very disappointed.

I have done all the instructions above and nothing works. I attach my screenshot and logs. I have opened your 2 links above and make it permitted and allowed but still Fusion failed to open.

I have uninstall, remove the data from Autodesk folder, and still it wont work.

I had previously succeed opening and using Fusion 360, it was about 6 months ago. Since then I probably only open it once. At that time I was in campus using campus' wifi with proxy. And also I still have google Chrome installed in my windows 8.1

Now I am at home, I do not use proxy and I have set all my proxy settings to none. I can open Inventor, Autodesk Desktop App, and they all can connect to the internet! Now I have uninstalled google Chrome (because it consumed so much memory). I am using firefox (the latest version 47.0).

I think the cause is because I am using firefox instead of chrome (the previously succeeded to run Fusion 360) But I cannot find a way to change that settings.

Please Help!

Brian

Hi @Anonymous,

I took a peek at your log file and nothing really stood out to me. I'd like to check out your application log files as well. This guide here will tell you how to collect those. I have an idea we can try though! Can you please do the following (on the non-proxy network):

  • Make sure Fusion is closed and no stray Fusion processes in Task Manager are open
  • Browse to C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services
  • Locate LoginState.XML
  • Rename this file to LoginState.XML.BAK
    • This is just creating a backup file of this login state, just in case. What will happen is now when you launch Fusion, it will reprompt you to log in and re-authenticate

Thanks,

Hi James,

Thank you so much for your fast reply.

Sorry I reply so late, I have renamed the file LoginState.xml to LoginState.xml.bak but the same message still pop out. When I opened the Fusion, there is no new file called LoginState.xml... If you said that the LoginState.xml.bak is a backup file, should it create a new file without that ".bak"? I still cannot open Fusion 360.

Here is my log files, hope I got it right haha.

Hi @Anonymous,

I took a peek at that file and I notice the following few errors:

It looks as if your network is not allowing the communication between those sites and your machine. I'd like to connect offline to troubleshoot this a little further. I sent you a private message so we can set something up.

Once we find out the solution, I will post back here with my findings!

I too have this problem.

When opened FUSION 360 it prompted that you have been working offline for more that 2 weeks, please connect to an internet source and sign in and also unable to connect to the internet error. I have renamed the loginstatus.xml , Now only the unable to connect error is being shown

Here are my recent log files

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue! I checked into that log file you were seeing and I see the following errors:

https://a360-statusdashboard.s3.amazonaws.com/autodesk_maintenance.json?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAI3QZAKZMAFW7REIA&Expires=1739314215&Signature=8gvCKDc6XsblmZxbvZ%2FudKRlfyc%3D 7 Failed connect to a360-statusdashboard.s3.amazonaws.com:3128; No error

20160815T175046 E Process QueryMaintenanceInfoComplete failed to get responce data Function: void __cdecl Ns::ServicesMonitor::QueryMaintenanceInfoComplete(const class Ns::HTTPResponse &),

GET https://ui-dls360.autodesk.com/fusion/version.txt 28 Connection timed out

Now the first two errors, I personally have not seen before, but I will check into those further. I do note a lot of "Failed to connect" or "connection timed out" errors. Are you behind a proxy server or a restrictive network by any chance? Can you please copy/paste the following into an internet browser and post a screenshot of what turns up?

https://ui-dls360.autodesk.com/fusion/version.txt

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on that information I am curious to see if it is related to a proxy server or security issue. Can you tell me a little bit more about the network you operate on? Are you on a proxy server by any chance or restrictive work network?

Thanks,
