Hello, I installed fusion 360 on windows 11, the installation finishes correctly and no errors but when I try to launch fusion 360 the process is started (I see this in the task manager) but there is no window!

I don't understand I deleted the AppData files and tried to do a clean uninstall but it doesn't work.

Thank you

This doesn’t sound like “finishes correctly” to me?

Is Windows 11 even a supported OS?

@Anonymous We do not yet support Windows 11 but are working on our end doing all the testing to ensure that when we do support most known issues are addressed. We will take a look at the logs you attached and see what could be happening. (We have been testing on Windows 11 for a while internally and have not seen a launch issue yet)

@Anonymous I wrongly assumed your attachments very logs. Can you try a couple of these things:

1. from the image I see that there are 2 Fusion 360 running. Can you end task both of them

2. Please also end task "Fusion launcher"

3. Restart the machine

4. Launch Fusion

If you still see the same behavior, can you please follow this article https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-manually-collect-the-log-files-for-Autodesk-Fusion-360.html

and send us all the 3 log files called out ?

"1.finish the final task both

2. Please also complete the “Merge Launcher” task.

3. Restart the machine

4. Start Fusion "

but it doesn't work ... and I don't have the task: "Fusion Launcher"

and here are the log files:

(the installation log and the others that I find in C: \ Users \ velay \ AppData \ Local \ Autodesk \ Autodesk Fusion 360 \ logs and I cannot find this logs C: \ Users \ velay \ Appdata \ Local \ Autodesk \ Autodesk Fusion 360 \ <AlphaNumeric folder> \ logs)

@Anonymous Thank you for the log files. While I take a look at it can you try to launch Fusion in offline mode? (Disconnect Internet and try to launch it and tell me what happened?)

@RajkumarIlanchelian I try offline mode but it's not works (and I see the app in the task manager) and this is the log (I see and it's not very important for me it's just an error with the connection to the server)

It does not look like he install completely correctly. Can you please try the below?

0. Before you go through the below steps can you load https://ui-dls360.autodesk.com/fusion/version.txt and paste what is the output you get?
1. End task any Fusion 360 running in the task manager and also any Fusion launcher

2. Restart your machine

3. Go to this page and use the uninstaller here to clean uninstall Fusion 360 - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

4. Now try to install Fusion again

Is the experience any better?

@Anonymous The log files are not really giving anything. The install seems to be right but were there any changes made to proxy? The latest log file you shared seemed to be something with proxy.

@Anonymous Not sure what else could be happening. Windows 11 is certainly a factor but internally we can successfully install Fusion on Win 11. Can you check to see if there are any Windows 11 updates that you need on the machine? Also once that is done can you right click on the exe and run as an administrator and see if that helps?

@RajkumarIlanchelian

A similar issue happen to me.

I upgraded to Win 11 from Win 10 and Fusion worked well. And recently I had a windows update and after that Fusion just won't start. It is in processes but it is not lunching. No resources go there. If I try to uninstall it via standard win uninstall tool and it kind of starting as a process but nothing shows up. I tried to uninstall with a clean uninstall tool and then install again and that didn't help.

I have no docking stations, one 1440p screen and I have AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and Nvidia 2070S and SSD.

I hope this will help you to find the issue, Autodesk team. You are the best!

@Anonymous The logs really does not tell us much at all. it looks like Fusion is not even getting to the point where it can log. Can you try once more a uninstall using windows uninstaller and then a re-install, please? We deployed a new 2.0.11405 late Monday and I want to see if you have any luck running that version or not. Please uninstall Fusion- Restart your machine- install fusion again.

@Anonymous Sounds like the very same issue for you on Windows 11. Can you please try the same?

Is there a projected date when Fusion will be able to run functionally on Windows 11?
