Fusion 360 quit unexpectedly

Hello,

I have the error "Fusion 360 quit unexpectedly".

Fusion quit error.pngWhen I try and load Fusion it shows the splash screen for a split second then always gives me this error.

This happened after I received the "The last time you opened Fusion 360 it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows" crashing loop.

I was working on a drawing when Fusion froze, became unresponsive and never became operational. I had to quit Fusion and this started the crashing loop error. I am running on MacOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.5.

I found this support page which states that I should have to completely uninstall and reinstall Fusion 360.

Surely there is something else I could do to solve this, since this is the third time I have had this error this week.

Hi @dangartland,

Thanks for posting. We are investigating this issue but are having a hard time reproducing. Would you have some time today for a screenshare session to go over this issue together? If so, please email me at james.youmatz@autodesk.com

Thanks,

Hey @dangartland, we just pushed a small update last night that should have addressed this issue you're seeing. Can you try again and let us know that you're able to get back into Fusion 360?

Hello, a few days ago this happened and I am still unable to open fusion. When I tried to open it, it will bounce on my dock for a few second and quit on its self, apparently, this also happened with my design teacher on her computer, do you know how I could fix this? I already tried to reinstall and have used the fusion 360 cleaner as Autodesk suggested bit it doesn't work. I also tried to restart my computer and I get the same result every time.

Thanks.Screen Shot 2020-03-27 at 2.35.30 PM.png

I 'm having the same issue, and wanted to share my Error Report(at the bottom).  I have completed the instructions here:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fus...

and the uninstall instructions here:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

I've just re-installed from the current version.  Still get this "quit unexpectedly" error.  Thank you for your help!
