Fusion 360 Online Browser cant edit

blakeh3JQB6

For the past week+ any time i create a fusion design in one of my projects and save it and try to edit it later by clicking "Edit in browser" I get this page:

"Cannot GET /html/unauthorized_redirect.html"

This makes using fusion360 online almost useless. I cannot edit any of my designs online in the browser.

Hi @blakeh3JQB6,

Thank you for posting!

I am sorry to hear about the issue. Could you give me a few more pieces of information to narrow down what the cause of the problem is?

・Can you start creating a new design in the browser version of Fusion 360?

1. Open this page: https://myhub.autodesk360.com/g/all_projects/active

2. Select a project

3. Click New and select Fusion Design

・Could you try creating a new Autodesk account and editing a design in the browser? If that works, the root cause may be specific to your account.

・Does it make a difference if you log out on the web, log back in, and try to edit?

・Could you attach a screenshot of the error?

・Please invite me to your project so that I can test with my account. My email address is masanobu.minohara@autodesk.com

I look forward to hearing from you.

I have created a new account.

Made a new project, created a new design and i still have the same issue as with the other account.

here are some photos of the page i get redirected to.

I have also invited you to my project.

I have tried logging in and out and it makes no difference, this has been a problem the last week. It used to work fine.

I am using Chromium Version 62.0.3202.62 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 17.04 (64-bit)

Thank you for the update! I am sorry that the issue still persists.

I don't have any issues with editing your design in the browser version of Fusion so I think the issue is specific to your machine. Honestly I'm not sure what's causing the issue right now but I'll gather more information on this internally and let you know as soon as I can.

In the meantime, could you try clearing browser cache and also try using another web browser to see if that makes a difference?

I downloaded and installed Chrome on my desktop computer. It still does the same thing.

I have tried on my laptop which is running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and chromium and it also doesnt work.

Edit:  I have just tried on my work laptop with windows 10 on Chrome 61. Same problem.

Edit2: I just tried it on my Android cell phone and get the same error, tried with cellular data and with wifi. Same result.

Hi @blakeh3JQB6,

Thank you for the update! I found in our internal system that you don't have a valid license for Fusion 360. Is that correct? If so, could you try activating a license by following the steps in this article if you are qualified for one of these types of license (please note that activation can be done only on Windows/Mac), or purchase one if you are using Fusion for business that makes more than $100k a year.

Hopefully this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

That definitely sounds like a problem.

I was under the impression that I signed up as an enthusiast.

This is just for me messing around with models, not commercial or business based or for profit.

I dont have access to the desktop software as i am on linux, so i just use the web. Is there some way i can definitively make my account enthusiast licensed? AKA the free tier?

Also, what about the brand new account i created online? That one still has the same issue.

Thank you for your response! I've checked if the Account team can do that for you but unfortunately it seems like it cannot be done on our side. Could you send me the password via private message so that I can activate a license for you on my machine? You can change the password here for temporary use if necessary. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Sorry, I didn't mention anything about the brand new account. I just created new accounts myself and tested, and was able to reproduce the error. The issue occurred when I created an account on the web, and then went directly to the browser version of Fusion to create and edit a design.

However, I didn't get the error when I created an account through the desktop version of Fusion, and then went to the browser version.

So I assume you never accessed the desktop version of Fusion with the new account?

Yes, that is true. I have not used the desktop version as i am on linux and there is currently no linux version of Fusion 360.

Thank you for sending me a private message! And I apologize for my slow response. We had a national holiday in Japan and just came back to the office.

I tried logging in with your credential and noticed that a license had already been activated for you.

Could you check if you can edit your files in the browser version of Fusion now?

Hello,

I installed windows on virtualbox and installed fusion 360 to see if I could get it registered. It looks like it fixed the issue!

In the future, this problem should be able to be resolved through the web editor. Hopefully this is something the developers are working on.

Thank you for your help.

HI im currently using the trial fusion but the web browser shows this

which doesnt allow me to add new part or edit existing part online. Is it because theres something wrong with my account or is this not accessible in the trial version?
