Fusion 360 not starting

This morning fusion won’t start.  Everything is the same except that we have no internet currently (I’m assuming out tech folk will fix that soon enough).

I found an autodesk article saying that I should be able to run fusion for a few weeks at a time without internet. It said that I should start fusion and then put it into offline mode. But it won’t even get to the point where I can put it into offline mode, I just see a full screen blank white window with no ui.

it is unnerving to think that a temporary internet outage can completely block me from using fusion.  Are there any tips or tricks for this situation?

You need an internet connection (to verify license) to open Fusion on your computer, once open then you can use it offline for a couple of weeks but you cant shut down otherwise you will need the internet to connect again.

I hadn’t realized it had that limitation, thank you for telling me.  Someone else had told me fusion could run for 30 days without internet and hadn’t mentioned that it was only true if your computer didn’t shut down at all or crash during that time.

I have been informed by @jhackney1972 that you can open Fusion 360 while offline as long as you don't log out of your account before shutting down.
