Hi,

Fusion 360 is not responding when trying to launch.
I have followed and done all steps in the "Troubleshooting Fusion 360 launching issues" without any luck. The same issue happend on my laptop. Both computers running Windows.

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

Hi @kristian.kloften ,

There was a bug specific to windows machine which has been fixed with latest Fusion build 2.0.9937.

Please update to the latest fusion version from Updating Fusion 360 to the latest version article.

Please let me know if you are still seeing issues with startup.

Hi @dsouzasujay
I've updated Fusion just now to the latest release, restarted Fusion and the computer. I still have the same issue.

Fusion will launch, but uses 10-15 minutes.

@kristian.kloften

Can you give a try by performing an automatic clean uninstall of Autodesk Fusion 360 using the tool.

After successful uninstall, reinstall Fusion 360.

If you still see some issues, Please send me diagnostic log files.

  • If you can launch fusion, attach the zip file from Diagnostic Log Files
  • If you can't launch fusion, collect manually and attach the log files

I have the same issue. Was working fine yesterday. Opened Fusion this morning and it started update in the background. I did the restart to complete the update and I haven't been able to launch it since.

I've done the whole "clean uninstall" and install again, it still won't launch properly.

I'll add the screenshot of the launch where it gets stuck for me.Launching Fusion gets stuck at this.Launching Fusion gets stuck at this.

I finally have Fusion working again.

All I did was that I left it stuck at "Not Responding" and after around 25 minutes, it finally launched. I haven't closed it since then.

Please figure out a solution for this terrible launch time. I don't have the luxury to wait for half an hour just for a software to launch.

I am unable to even enter fusion to create the log file.

I have started Fusion now at 1.19, I'll wait 20+ minutes to see if it also launches eventually...

after 10 minutes it launched, I closed it, to see if it would launch quickly now, see if it was fixed, alas, another 10 minute wait...

@dsouzasujay I have the same problem. I have already done a clean uninstall but it's not responding.

I attached the logs which I collected manually. Thanks!

Hi @kristian.kloften , @Anonymous , @WesleyTack

We have considered this issue on priority and will be fixed soon.

For now please consider this workaround, The Issue can be fixed with below steps:

  • The user must Launch Fusion and let it load completely. It can take up to 15 minutes.
  • The user must close and relaunch Fusion. At this point the issue should be fixed

Note: This solution is only for @kristian.kloften @Anonymous @WesleyTack ,

If other users are facing similar issue, please attach your diagnostic log files.

Edited:

@PreformHu , it should work for you as well.

Hi all,

Just wanted to quickly comment with some updates. There are still one more issue that we are working on fixing after the update yesterday, however, there is a workaround to get Fusion up and running quickly again. There are two options:

Option 1

  • Launch Fusion and let it load completely. It can take up to 15 minutes.
  • Then close and relaunch Fusion. At this point the issue should be fixed upon subsequent launching

Option 2

  • Go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Search and delete all flags.json files
  • Launch Fusion, At this point the issue should be fixed

Thank you for your patience during this, and apologize for the issues while launching. This issue should be gone after performing one of the two options above. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
