Fusion 360 not resopnding on startup (error CER_195436404)

Whenever I open Fusion 360, it says "A software problem caused Fusion360 to close unexpectedly" and it will not start up. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application but it does not work. Does anyone know of a solution?

Hello @Anonymous,

thanks for posting and for sending the crash report.

Let me know if that helps. If you are still unable to open Fusion 360, manually collect your Fusion 360 log files, create a ZIP archive and send them to us for further investigation (see: How to manually collect the log files for Fusion 360).

Thanks!

Hello Pawel,

Thanks for your help in offering me solutions. I am running Windows 10 Home Version 1809.

I tried running as an administrator and using the Clean Uninstall program, but the error comes up every time and it

As per your instructions I have attached a zip of the log files I could find through the link. I have submitted a new error as well, in case something changed.

Once again, thanks for all your help and I hope you can find a solution

Hello @Anonymous,

thanks for the reply and for sending the logs!

There may be a few causes for this behaviour, as described in the following knowledge article: Fusion 360 does not launch after installation or update. Before trying these out, I would like to ask some additional questions:

  1. Do you have a dual graphics card on your machine? You can check this by going to Device Manager -> Display Adapters  in the Windows Control Panel. If so, right-click on the Fusion 360 Desktop Icon -> Run with graphics processor -> High Performance...
  2. If you just have the Inter Graphics Card, right-click on it within the Device Manager and select Update Driver Software... to download and install the latest driver
  3. Restart the PC and re-test. If the issue persists, follow the article mentioned above.

Let me know if that helps. Thanks!
