Hi.

After fusion updated (downgraded to cloud solving only) i can not run a static stress simulation.

I have cloud credits, i am told i dont even need but still not possible to solve.

Sovle button is grayed out.

Can someone please guide me here to fix this issue?

See screenshot below.

Apparently you need to activate the simulation extension, which has either 7-day free trial option or card purchase option. For now I tried the 7-day trial, but it only took me to the next level of DOESN'T WORK, i.e. simulation succeeded, but receiving failed due to UNKNOWN ERROR (see the attachment). My blood boils! And if this newly "refreshed" simulation extension turns out to be extra paid on top of my subscription I'm definitely scrapping this shite from my computer and demanding a refund.

Some colleagues of mine have been experiencing similar issues. They are able to select Solve but the simulation fails with an extremely simple model using 1 constraint and Load. However, I don't seem to have the issue?

I have also performed testing using my machine but with a colleagues Fusion Account login details then performed a similar static simulation which failed. I logged back into my own account and the test was successful.

Wonder if both issues could potentially be account related as my Windows and Fusion applications are fully up to date.

There was an issue earlier today with one of our cloud services which resulted in the Solve button not being enabled sometimes. This was intermittent and due to excessive load on the service. This issue has since been resolved and you should not longer be seeing this behavior. We are actively looking into ways we can prevent a future occurrence of a similar issue from affecting the Solve button.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, mcmillr

Not good! This tells me Autodesk does not have the capasity to deliver what we pay for. This is the reason why Autodesk should not have made this a cloud only service.  This was a total show stopper for me today. Beeing able to be dynamic in very short delivery windows is critical for what i do to get payed.

Also the cloud simulations is 2-3 times slower compared to local, this does not help!

Sadly, as i write this i realise i can not do this type work offline anymore when traveling.

If this happen more times i will for sure look to other software solutions.

So if you can realy help, please bring back the local simulation!

Thanks!

The solve button is working but not receive similar issues mentioned above. I've created another specific support section Static Stress Simulation Failing with Unknown Error - Autodesk Community - Fusion 360 where I have attached a screen shot of the issue being experienced.

This issue with the Solve button not working is occurring on my Mac. I've cleared cache, restarted twice, checked I have cloud credits. It seems to not show the Cloud Credits needed or available, like it isn't syncing with the server. Yet I can check my account balance so it isn't a log in error.

Sorry about that, there was an incident yesterday that has been resolved, solve should be working now.
