Fusion 360 missing grid

the layout grid disappears when entering a sketch in any plane. see pictures. I have restarted and uninstalled/reinstalled the program. Grid is still disappearing.

In the sketch palette on the right side of your screen, check the sketch grid box, that should fix it for you.
