Hello guys,
I hope somebody will be able to help me. My question to you is: Is Loft function in Fusion 360 equivalent to Boundary Boss/Base in Solidworks?
I think it is not...
Please see below which problem I have.
I am trying to design a jetpump. I was following this tutorial which is for Solidworks, but I tried to recreate it in Fusion 360: LINK
Now I stumbled upon a problem. I designed the same sketch in Fusion 360 and Solidworks. And when I try to loft it in Fusion 360 and boundary boss it in solidworks I get 2 different outcomes. The outcome should be the same? At least I think so.
Please see the difference between the 2 objects (bear in mind sketches are the same in both software):
- Solidworks:
Nice, smooth curvature "on the back"
And now Fusion 360:
Here in Fusion you can see the back is not as nice and straight as it is in Solidworks, but you get some kind of a "sinkhole" in the middle while the edge is lifted a bit. All in all, it does not follow the curve I sketched...
Can somebody please help me to get the same result as I am getting in Solidworks? Is that even possible?
Thank you for your help in advance!
