Fusion 360 Internal Cam kernel error after 2.0.12157 update

After the most recent update of fusion any type of toolpath in fusions fails to generate and throw the internal cam kernel error. I've tried clean uninstall on 2 machines still the same result on both.

I saw this issue was caused in the past by tool table issues but I don't have any special characters in the tool table.

Even the cam samples in fusion fails to generate. Right before the update I was creating a tool path. then it updates and the perfectly functioned toolpaths are no longer generated.

Fusion is unusable at the moment. tested on 2 computers with same results on version 2.0.12157 Any help is appreciated.

I'm running windows 7 sp1 64bit.

I'm probably telling you something you already know, but Win7 is no longer a supported OS, by Microsoft as well as Fusion 360. We have received reports of this issue, and are looking into it. I strongly encourage you to upgrade to Win10, it will likely be a lot quicker than us getting a fix out for this issue.

Updating to windows 10 is not an option for these computers due to the other software that I run on these.

Is there any workaround for this? or maybe a way to downgrade? fusion is no longer usable right now.

I'm sorry that you are in this position, truly.

Downgrading the software is not an option, and there is no workaround at this point.

We announced the ending of WIN7 support almost 2 years ago:

Hi, Same issue.  Up until last update, everything worked fine even with the Win7 banner. (With the exception of cosmetic/minor stuff), but now I can't generate cam, which is worse.

Upgrading the OS, is not really possible in my case.

(Additionally, every 2nd time I launch fusion, I get an "update failed to complete message")

Is there any way to force re-install or revert/downgrade to a previous version of Fusion??

Nope, software update is a one-way process
