The current Fusion 360 installer fails the new security checks in macOS Catalina and is not allowed to run.

Ahh the penalty of running a beta os on a machine you need to use productively

the release note clearly say do not use on a machine that is not a dedicated test one

now the answer yes it will run but you need to use the terminal to disable the security, but I am not prepared to post that info here it’s to dangerous

Where exactly in my post did I say I was trying to install on a production machine?

I installed it on my production machine. : ) Works great! Justf little things, but I'm still designing, machining, and printing. 3D printing... Drawings does not work. If you would like to install it, just give it Full Disk access in the Mac Security settings. Catalina is locked down like Fort Knox.

Does it all work now?

Because on my macbook (11,2) Mojave and Fusion works terrible slows down and gives me the spinning ball all the time although I have 16Gb and i7 for it to use..  If Catalina is an imporvement it's a deal for me....

It works on Catalina, but it's not getting faster. After manufacturing Extensions was added, I started to feel a lag. I had to turn the graphics setting down to keep with my current pace. And, you can't make Drawings, and many other little things still do not work yet.

I'd wait : )

I have it with lots of thing when starting OSX ill have to wait if I move or click to soon with my mouse my screen freezes and OSX crashes... after the wait everything look OK sarting Fusion have to wait can work fine but there is a lot of lack with some options do you use the work history I think that uses up a lot of memory...With High Sierra I had no problem..

Maybe I need to reinstall High Sierra again... 😞 but I have bootcamp that will cost me a lot of work....

But thxs of your advice...

Did not work for me.

Installed Catalina. I have 32 gig  on  4ghz machine and all I get is spinning wheel and freezes!

Fusion is now useless for me, and I love the program!!!
