Fusion 360 import non fusion svg, Countour Selection not working.

Everyone, Much appreciation if someone could help with this. Pretty new to fusion, Have Googled this thing to death. Tried several solutions no go. Problem Importing Non fusion created 2d cutting SVG, Imports upside down and also needs to be flipped horizontal. After Press pull, on to manufacture and contour selection. Weird looking contour selection lines and after manually selecting all contours  the process errors with below.  On to the animation process tool runs back and fourth across the top in yellow horizontal lines.

Have tried Selecting Sketch, Bodies during contour selection, Flipping z and y axis, Removed constraints, lead in and out to 0. Re-importing file after saving in Inkscape as Simple SVG.

Have tried importing other files not generated by fusion with same result.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

In your Fusion by default Z is up (unless you've changed it via Preferences), so in your manufacturing setup machine orientation is in Z direction. In this case when you are inserting DXF or SVG you should select XY plane (or one parallel to it):

But even if you insert on the wrong plane you either can change it afterwards by right clicking on the sketch and chose redefine sketch Plane:

redefine plane.png

Or change orientation of setup in Manufacturing workspace:

I did the first approach and it selects contours and generates toolpath OK. File is attached.
