Hey Guys,

I'm pretty sure when entering a Full Screen mode (Ctrl+Shift+F), Fusion doesn't supposed to look like that:

Hi @Beyondforce,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! It's been logged with development and one of them is already on it. 🙂

Thanks!

Dear @kate.raskauskas

why hasn't this been fixed yet - more than a year ago? It is quite an ugly bug that makes full screen not usable at all.

No, this problem has not been solved. 2019 And this is still a problem. I love Fusion360, but there's incomplete or missing features (like this one, dark/night mode ui, etc) that are far below what's par for the course as far as basic/minimal features in literally every modern application.

It's time to play catch up and consolidate some of these features, folks. People are paying way too much to let things like this slide. PM/PO, can these kinds of things be shuffled in the mix, please?

I'm having the same problem - any timeline for when a fix will be available?

So this is now 2,5 years ago and not solved? How can it be?

It is so because we haven't fixed it.

The workaround is to not use full screen on Windows. Hopefully you can use Fusion in a maximized state just as efficiently as in full screen.

SAD!

Just use a maximized window cuz full screen sux. Don't use all of your pixels, waste em instead.

It looks like the only pixels you are wasting are those at the very top, where it says Fusion 360.

The zone is actually smaller than this when Fusion is maximized.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the reply, can you find out why that is the case? If Fusion 360 is not maximized, wouldn't it be better to have the thinnest toolbar possible?

The whole point of going full screen is to get rid of the top toolbar and hide the windows task bar at the bottom of the screen. It is great that the Fusion 360 toolbar gets smaller when maximized but I think it is bad that the Fusion 360 timeline at the bottom of the screen is not usable when the app enters full screen mode.

It looks like this issue has been around long before this thread, an AUTODESK EXPERT ELITE user reported it in 2015: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-design-validate/problems-with-fullscreen-mode/td-p/5908039

This thread was opened in 2017 and has been marked as solved by @kate.raskauskas. According to her, someone started working on a fix in 2017.

If the problem has been around since 2015, has this been labeled as WONT-FIX internally and Autodesk has no intention of fixing this problem?
