Fusion 360 freezes when trying to create a milestone

Hi,

I'm running into two issues when I try to create a milestone for model:

1. If I save the part and click the "create milestone" box during the save, no milestone is created.  I can verify this by checking the history of the part: the save will be there but no associated milestone.  This happens every time.
2. If I then press the three dots in the latest version of the part in its history and select "create milestone", Fusion will freeze for about 10 minutes, with Node.js using 100% of a CPU core.  I attached a screenshot of my task manager while this is occurring.  The Fusion 360 not responding shown in the screenshot is due to me left clicking anywhere in Fusion while the 10 minute freeze is occuring, and Fusion will start responding after the freeze finishes.  This occurs on roughly 80% of the milestones I create, with the other 20% being created immediately.

I've tried reinstalling Fusion without success.  I'm running Windows 10 Home, version 21H1.  Any help would be appreciated!

When you create a Milestone while saving, it does not appear in the data panel or version history immediately.  Wait a few seconds and it will appear.  This is shown in my Screencast.  I too am running Windows 10 and have no issues creating a milestone by clicking the three dots to create a milestone or edit one.

I'm glad that milestones are working as intended for you, but that does not reflect my experience with the software.
