Fusion 360 freezes when I hover the mouse over a component (in the Browser)

Some days ago I was working on designing my project, and I noticed that when I enabled the visibility of an specific component for the first time after I opened the design, Fusion freezes, and little time later it returned responding. But now when I just hover the mouse over it, Fusion freezes, and it last a lot longer than before

Please attach a sample model where this issue is occurring.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

@arturzahn5 - does the pause happen on just mouse movement, or when you select something.  If the pause is when a face is selected, I recommend turning off this setting:

When you select a face, Fusion calculates the surface area of that face, which can be an expensive operation.  I always turn off this setting...

You also mention pauses when over a component (in the browser).  Are you referring to Fusion's Component Browser (on the left), showing all components in the design?  If so it could be a graphics issue, since hovering over that will cause the entire component to be selected, which will draw the entire component.  If there are lots of surfaces in a component, or your graphics hardware is slow, this could cause a pause, as well.

This suddenly started happening to me after the most recent update. When hovering over a specific component from the list view or the main project name in the dropdown list on the left fusion freezes and consumes a lot of CPU. Modifying the bodies in the component from the 3D view seems fine but anything that modifies the component has the same behavior. I suspect the recent update is to blame as I am having the same issue for several previous versions which I made modifications to in later versions.

I have been having this issue starting today. I was in the middle of modifying a turning program and it hung.

Rebooted my pc and now it hangs immediately when I hover the mouse over the browser area. If I do not put the mouse over the browser, the app doesnt hang and I can rotate the model with out issue. The second I hover over any part of the browser, Fusion hangs immediately. I got three operations into cutting this part before it started doing this.

Any ideas?

It seems to be happening onboth my cPCs that I use. Was fine this morning....

and it only seems to hang when in the manufacturing module

Update.... I have been trying to find out more. It seems this is due to a corruption in the turning operations for this file.

I have copied several over from a previous similar project and that file has the same issue now, although it worked fine last time I opened it.

I can open other files with Turning operations and have been remaking the entire design from scratch, as a work around.

I do hope there is some method to use to repair a file, or to avoid this entirely. Any feedback would be appreciated

Thank you
