Hi,

After the "old" license has been terminated, a trial period of 30 days with full functionality automatically follows.

If the message "Expired subscription read-only" appears, follow the steps in the image series.

When I did this, I get a window that says "Your Fusion 360 personal offering entitles you to 10 editable Fusion 360 documents and unlimited read-only documents. If you are already using Fusion 360, your Fusion 360 documents are now read-only. Manage which documents are editable and which are read-only in the data panel."

This is typical behavior for a Fusion 360 Personal License.  Open any of your files, make it Editable and start modeling.  If you expected some other behavior, please explain.  By the way, the old name for a Personal License was Hobby License.

Does "10 editable Fusion 360 documents" mean total open at one time? or total total?

I guess I am confused, I have way more than 10 fusion models I am still tweaking and working on.

Do I work on these 10, then make them read-only so I can work on another 10..?

I never had to deal with editable/read-only before with the free hobby license.

I will let the video provide most of the answer to your question.  Answering one of your questions directly, you can work on ten files (documents) in an editable state at once.  If you need an 11, you would simply make one non-editable and then open and edit the 11 file which becomes the tenth.

Please note the part of the video where you can create your complete assembly, with hundreds of components and the top level assembly only counts as ONE editable document!  Fusion 360 gives you so many ways to make the files editable and non-editable your workflow will not be affected.

Is the Editable 10 cleared up for you now?
