fusion 360 error components are rigidly assembled

Hello everyone,

This morning I was trying to join 2 parts of a vise, Jaw and base, and I keep getting this error " Components are rigidly assembled ".  I have used the Joint icon many time but today I get this problem.  Has anyone run across this problem or know a solution?  (Just did the update this week)

Most likely, if this is a new design, you are seeing the result of a new capability added to Fusion recently:  Ground to Parent .  If your designs show small "anchor" badges on components:

Then, this is likely the cause of the message you are seeing.  You will need to remove this condition, using the Unground From Parent command:
