Fusion 360 education license for course

Hi, 

I use fusion 360 education license for my design. In order to improve my skills,I do want to enrol for a specialization course given by Autodesk on coursera and wondering if I still can use the education license.

Coursera isn't an academic institution type listed in the eligibility:

Examples of qualified educational institutions include, without limitation, accredited public or private:

• Middle schools and high schools
• Junior colleges
• Colleges, universities, and technical schools
• Home-school programs that belong to a nationally recognized home-schooling body

What this means is that you can't get an educational license but can use a personal license or you can buy a commercial license.

What is the course about? As most features are in the personal license of Fusion 360.

Isn't it possible to take the course using the education license?

Coursera isn't a valid institution, therefore, you cannot get an education license.

I would like to know, why coursera we can't give a educational license by Coursera, if the course "Intro to digital manufacturing with Autodesk fusion 360" for exemple, is a course by Autodesk.

Coursera isn't an academic institution recognized by a government which is a requirement to be eligible for the Autodesk Education Licenses. 

From the Educational T&Cs: A “qualified educational institution” is an educational institution that has been accredited by an authorized governmental agency within its applicable local, state, provincial, federal, or national government and has the primary purpose of teaching its enrolled students. The software can be used for learning, teaching, training, research, and development that are part of the instructional functions performed by the educational institution.

The other issue is that currently, educational entitlements allow you to use most if not all products. Allowing Coursera would create a massive loophole.

This is a serious shortcoming on the part of Autodesk. I enrolled for the generative design course on Coursera hoping to finish it but I now have to pay for the software to complete the course. 

All other software providers provide free licensing and do recognize Coursera.
