Are you able to create Fusion Design? and facing issues only while creating Fusion Drawing?

Thanks @abhinav_singh that's a great question. I'm just checking on this thread to ask what exactly happens when you try to create or open a design? Do you see an error message? A screen shot of Fusion error messages or description of your workflow would help.

Hello, I'm able to create and/or upload designs without any problem, but when I attempt to create a drawing from such design, the fusion either freezes or returns to the design view.

Hi! my subscription is still full on working.
no message is displayed when the error occurs.
Normally, I would create or upload a design, use the shell command, use the section analysis, create a few sections and then try to create a drawing from the design. That's when the fusion doesn't want to cooperate: either freezes or returns to the design mode.
I have updated my drivers (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M version 466.77) and still nothing.

I have also tried a clean uninstall according to the step-by-step guide of a manual clean uninstalling post in the AutoDesk community. I have installed Fusion again and the problem persists.

thank you all for trying to fin a solution with me, i'm hopping we can get to solve it

The GeForce 950m is from 2015 era. Those drivers are not working well with Fusion.

Can you tell me what version of Windows you are running?

Please try the following:

1. Open preferences

2. On the default pane, change your graphics driver to DX9

3. Save preferences, restart Fusion and check the preference to ensure it's enabled.

4. Try drawings again.

After trying this, it still didn't work, I still couldn't create nor open
drawings, but choosing between the options X9 and X11, restarting and all,
a banner appeared saying "this computer's graphic driver or hardware may be
limiting performance. Lean more here" (this had never appeared before
because I had the automatic setting on). Well, this took me down a rabbit
hole of help posts on Autodesk's page, which ultimately ended on a post
explaining how to force fusion to run with one specific high-performance
graphic processor and another about graphic cards, and combining the two,
the problem was apparently solved. Everything is working OK so far.
So, even though your suggestion didn't ultimately solve the problem, it
guided me to the right process, so thank you so much!!!!! I'm truly
grateful 🙂 this community is great 🙂

Thanks @Anonymous for the update.

Could you possibly post the links you used to solve the issue? I'd like to help any other customers that find this situation, and it will also help the development team find a solution that avoids the problem to begin with. I also just want to be sure about what happened.

One last question: do you use Win 10 or Win 8.1?

Step 1 go to http://manage.autodesk.com and verify that you have a student license.
Post screen capture image similar to this for Step 2.

Post similar screen capture for Step 2.

(On Windows machine that would be Shift Win S and Ctrl v, not sure how to do screen captures on Mac.)

@Anonymous

You look at that with no comments? Why do you think that I insisted on a screen capture image before going to Step 2?

I would expect it to say Education or Student rather than Personal?

Do you always use the same email with Autodesk, or have you been using more than one email address?

Edit:  It just occurred to me that maybe you misunderstood the topic of this thread.  Are you a student? Yes? No?
