fusion 360 duplicated parameters with "_1" appended

I noticed in my parameters that fusion 360 duplicated several of my parameters with "_1" appended to them all on its own. The newly created parameters have the identical values as the ones it cloned. Unfortunately it did it several revisions ago so simply going back and promoting a newer version is a big deal as I will need to recreate all the changes. Has anyone else seen this? I wonder what caused it.

You did not attach your model so I can only guess what you are doing.  I believe you are inserting an external model into an assembly and then breaking the link.  The first time you insert it and break the link, you get the parameters from the inserted model.  The second time Fusion has to differentiate between the parameters so it adds a "_1".  This is normal.

If this is not the case, please attach your model.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Thank you. That is what I had done several revs back. I had no idea it would do this. Live and learn.
