Fusion 360 Drawings: How to add space between object and extension lines?

I have any object in drawings and I'm trying to dimension it but I can't find a way to extend the extension line so it doesn't intersect with the object.

Hello-

Where you pick determines the automatic spacing of your extension lines.

Take a look at the attached image for an explanation.

I tried doing that but the issue is that I have multiple vertical object lines close together but no matter which direction or points I use, the extension line will intersect with another object line. The picture below is a representation of what the object looks like.

Ahh.  Thank you for the image.  At this time, the dimension break only works when intersecting text or leaders or another dimension.  It does not break for object lines.  Sorry.
