Fusion 360 download issue

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have needed to download Fusion 360 on my computer for school related projects but every time I have gone to download it it gives me the same error message over and over again I have been trying to fix it in multiple different  way and even got my teachers help on this but it still wont download I have tried multiple things like restarting my computer, restarting my router to see if it was my internet, turning off my virus scanner/firewall and it still just isn't working and I cant see as to why. I can try to attach an image of the error that pops up to see if I can get feedback because this is going to start making me fail my class if I cant get this fixed

Hi,

Glad to help.

First try uninstalling. If you open the control center, uninstall an application, does it show Fusion 360 on the list? If so, uninstall it.

Next, no matter what you found in the above step, run the clean uninstaller. This is a downloaded tool from here:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

Then download a fresh copy of the installer from here:

https://www.autodesk.com/education/home

If it now fails again, and you see the same dialog, click the button that says "open log file location" in that dialog. Please attach the log files here as a zip file so I can see what's blocking installation at that point.

Thanks,
