Fusion 360 doesn't like tool selection??? HELP!

I hope I have selected the correct forum.

I am new to CAD/CAM and am trying to get up and running on my new Onefinity CAD machine. I am trying to learn Fusion 360 and am about to run my first job. I have my design done and have moved to the manufacture portion.

In tool selection I have down loaded Whiteside Tools library and have selected a 1" surfacing bit to surface a piece of stock. after I select the tool from the library I receive an error message, "tool (form mill) not supported for Face Operation."

What am I doing wrong???

If you are doing a Facing operation, you cannot use a Form Mill you need to select a Face Mill.  This is why is rejecting the tool.

Thanks John, The bit is actually a spoilboard surfacing bit but in the Whiteside download library it is call a form mill.

Do you know of a work around so I can use this bit and move forward with my project? I am only trying to surface my spoilboard on my machine.

Thanks Barry

I could tell a lot more if you would attach your model.  Not only will this give me your model and setup but the cutting tool.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

You do not seem to want to attach your model so I went to the Whiteside webpage, downloaded the tool library and imported it.  I did not want to but....  Please follow the Screencast and it will explain how to get your tool to work in your tool library.
