Thank you for your response! I will check the log files and let you know as soon as I have more information to share!

In the meantime, could you try creating a new Autodesk account with another email address, and then logging into Fusion to see if that helps?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for the update and I am sorry to hear that the issue still persists. I am going through the log files you provided right now and will let you know as soon as I have an update.

Also, did you have a chance to check this article? I see some network related errors in the log file. Would you be able to try launching Fusion in a different network environment that does not use proxy? (home, internet cafe, office, school, etc.)

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous

I just wanted to let you know that the development team is diligently working on this issue but they haven't found out why the issue is occurring. (the ticket ID is UP-35347 for your reference)

In the meantime, could you check the following items to narrow down what the cause of the problem is?

1. Try opening this page to see if you get any errors: https://myhub.autodesk360.com/g/all_projects/active

2. Copy the URLs below and paste them in the address bar of the internet browser. Then, check if there is any errors/warnings popping up (please attach a screenshot if there is an error)

Below are from my machine which does not have any issues. (just as an example of how they look)

I think this may be an issue exacerbated by the fact that Fusion 360 is currently in offline mode. This is an issue we are actively investigating. You can check on the status of Fusion 360 in the Autodesk Health Dashboard, below.
https://health.autodesk.com/

If you have not tried this yet, the following two suggestions may be helpful.

Clear the Loginstate.XML

Mac OS
1. (Close Fusion 360) In Terminal, type the below command and press enter

open ~/library/

2. In the Subsequent Finder window (Macintosh HD > Users > %Profile% > Library), browse to

~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Web Services

3. In the Web Services Directory, locate the file LoginState.xml
4. Right click on LoginState.xml and select Move to Trash

5. Restart Fusion 360

Windows OS

1. (Close Fusion 360) In windows explorer browse to  %localappdata%\autodesk\web services

2. In the Web Services directory, right lick on the Login State.xml file and select delete

3. Restart Fusion 360

Refresh the Browser cache

Try manually refresh any browser cache/options that could impact the Authentication Process:

Mac OS

  1. In a Terminal window, type the command open ~/library
  2. Browse to ~Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Neutron Platform/{alphanumeric folder name}.
  3. Delete NGlobalOptions.xml.
  4. Browse to ~Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Neutron Platform/
  5. Delete NMachineSpecificOptions.xml
  6. In a Terminal Window type the command open $TMPDIR
  7. Browse to ~T/Autodesk/
  8. Right click on the folder named BrowserCache and select Move to Trash
  9. Launch Fusion 360***
Windows
  1. Browse to %appdata%\autodesk\neutron platform\options\{alphanumeric folder name}.
  2. Delete NGlobalOptions.xml.
  3. Browse to %appdata%\autodesk\neutron platform\options
  4. Delete NMachineSpecificOptions.xml
  5. Browse to %temp%\autodesk\
  6. Delete the BrowserCache folder.
  7. Launch Fusion 360***

It would be good to confirm if either of these suggestions helps. Thank you in advance!

Hi @Anonymous,

This should be resolved and working now as we have cleared up the outage and are now in a degraded status, but online. Can you please restart Fusion and verify if you are able to sign in? If not, you may have to delete the loginstate.xml file that Nate suggested above, but now it should be working if it was related to the service outage.

Thanks,

@Anonymous @Anonymous @Anonymous The Fusion monitor just went yellow on the health dashboard. Do you mind launching and retesting  now?

If this doesn't help, could you upload a copy of the following files to this forum thread?

Windows:

  • C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\***\OfflineCache.xml
  • C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services\LoginState.xml
  • C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services\Log\WebServices.log

Mac OS:

  • Macintosh HS > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 *** > OfflineCache.xml
  • Macintosh HS > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Web Services > LoginState.xml
  • Macintosh HS > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Web Services > Log > WebServices.log

This files may help us to gain a better understanding of the issue. If you have any questions, please let me know. I am happy to help.

Thanks,

James,

Thank you for your reply. I am able to open the program, but I am not able
to save any files. When I try to manually switch to offline mode the
program gives the same error and immediately closes.
