fusion 360 crashes when opening files and using appearances

I have used fusion 360 for a year and never had any problems. After the last update fusion keeps crashing. If I try to open a model without appearances there are no problems but when i try to open a model with appearances, fusion crashes. Also when I am working on a model and I try to open the appearances menu fusion crashes.

Does anyone know a solution? Thanks in advance

The screenshot is what I see when fusion crashes

Hello,

Sorry For the inconvenience occurred.

Is it possible for you to share the model which is crashing. It will help us understand what exactly the problem is.

Almost all of my models are crashing while trying to open them. Only some smaller (the dimension of the model) models are opening. For example, this model is opening: https://a360.co/3tKMHYX while this model is not opening: https://a360.co/3l6FNWE . Like the last model, most models are not opening. I discovered that the model that is opening uses appearances (like all the models that are not opening). But when I try to change the appearance on that model fusion crashes. Also when I have an empty file (no model in it) and I try to open appearances fusion crashes.

A problem that I discovered as well is when I am working on a model, every couple of changes I make fusion freezes for a 1 or 2 minutes.

The only thing I could think of is that my laptop is not powerful enough. I have an intel core i5 8300h, Nvidia GeForce gtx1050, and 16GB ram. Fusion worked for more than a year without any problems. I don't think my laptop is suddenly not powerful enough but please correct me if I am wrong.

I hope you can think of a solution
