Fusion 360 Crashes when editing (likely due to assembly contexts/linked components)

Hello!

I am working on a project with linked assembly contexts and derived features.

Recently everything stopped being able to edit - doing something as simple as putting a circle on a sketch crashes fusion 360 without a crash reporting window.

I reverted the model to earlier versions to see if it was a recent mistake, but the same problem happened (even in very early models).

Here is the public link:

https://a360.co/3vXObOf

I no longer need the assembly context - and would like to remove it (as I think this could be something causing the issue) but removing it crashes to desktop.

Is there any way to delete this externally, or to stop it from crashing?

Hi @CaptainBobSim,

Sorry to see that you're facing this problem.

Thanks for reporting this, I'll pass it on to the development team to investigate.

Hi @CaptainBobSim,

Our development team was able to fix the file.

Here is the fixed file:  https://a360.co/3GqsgEf

The problem was related to Parameters, with same expressions dbToolDia = dbToolDia

We have made a fix by changing the parameter dbToolDia = 0.25

We were not able to reproduce this bug with a new file.

We still need to understand on how you ended up in such (dbToolDia = dbToolDia expression) situation.

It will be good if we can get some info from you on this.

Thank you so much for your incredible help!

I used the Dogbone tool, to make millable corners: https://github.com/DVE2000/Dogbone

I'm not sure how this would have happened. Perhaps a mistake on my end? I set this to .125" initially.
