Fusion 360 crashes on launch on Mac OS. We are currently working with Apple for a fix. OSX 10.15.7 11/24/21

Since returning from a trip I have not been able to load fusion on my Mac. A software problem has caused it to close unexpectedly.

I tried looking this up in support for Mac and it says its caused by corrupt installation of auto desk licensing service. Then takes me to an update page for auto desk licensing service updates. Did that, it was actually two installers adskflexnetserveripv6 and adsklicensing-12.0.0.6529-mac.

Restarted my mac. Still failed. Sent in report and then a screen popped up from Nov 24/21 saying "Fusion 360 crashes on launch on Mac OS with the following:
  • OSX 10.15.7
  • We are currently working with Apple for a fix.
Anybody know how to solve this or what the current status is??

I did go through the whole uninstall/reinstall this morning but the result on start up is the same. It was worth a shot.

Just one reason among many that forced (and generally obfuscated) application updates are a phenomenally poor UX choice. Five minutes and one unrequested update later and I can no longer get any work done in this app. SMH, Autodesk.

Unfortunately I ended up solving it by buying a new computer. I needed to update anyway but this was really, really bad timing to have to do so now.
