Fusion 360 Crashes but Doesn't...

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me out here.

In Fusion if I have a model open sometimes the workspace will freeze but Fusion itself doesn't.  I can't move, zoom or otherwise manipulate the object but I can still save the file and use other commands such as editing a feature.  If I switch to a different tab the browser on the left hand side updates but the model doesn't change from the one that's frozen.  When this happens I have to save the model (so at least I don't lose any work), close all open tabs and restart fusion.

This is happening once a day for me now and is quite frustrating.  The last few times it's done it I have noticed it's after the PC has gone into standby and upon reopening it's frozen in this way.  Most times however the PC can go into standby and re-open without issue.  This has happened on multiple models.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hello @info99H4D ,

Thanks for the log files, I did not find any specific issue other than your network issue, are you having any trouble with the internet at your end?

Apart from this I would recommend to do a clean uninstall

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

The network issue is because the PC had recently been in sleep mode whilst I was running the program on the machine.  I came back to edit some of the tool paths and Fusion takes a minute or two to realise that it's connected to the network.

I'll try an uninstall / reinstall later today.

Regards,

Sam
