Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! It sounds like you are looking for a post processor for a Kinetic NC machine.

There is a MicroKinetics post available at this link and I wonder if it would work on your machine - I am not familiar with Kinetic machines.

The WinPC-NC post could also be edited to work with your machine if it is close. To have a generic post customized to meet the needs of your hardware, please refer to the policy and resources described in this article.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have questions.

The machine is  High-z s 720 - the control software is Kinetic-nc  from  https://www.cnc-step.com/cnc-software/

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! That page does not look to include Fusion 360 as a software to use with your machine, but editing a post for your machine should allow you to do so. If you are using Fusion for CAM, you would not use anything on that page in conjunction, apart from potentially the WinPC-NC controller software.

Fusion 360 uses a post processor to convert the CAM operations programming inside Fusion to g-code for a specific machine/controller. In your case, it seems like the WinPC-NC post processor you used originally will be a good place to start. If this post is not running properly at the machine it will need to be edited. To do this effectively, you'll need to figure out where the code is not correct for your machine/controller and change the post to output the correct code for your needs.

As we do not provide post customization services in Support, you'll need to reach out to one of the resources linked from this article to have the WinPC-NC post edited to work with your machine.

I use the code posted here Benezan Electronics (see also attachment). It works very well on my HIGH-Z 720T from CNC Step.

I read somewhere, that the KINETIC-NC software is more or less the same as the Beamicon2, just rebranded for CNC Step.

Best regards,

Andreas
