Hi All,
Typically, we utilize the Admin installer to distribute Fusion and its updates through Microsoft Intune.
Previously, we employed the command "Fusion 360 Admin Install.exe" with parameters "--process" and "--update" and "--quiet" for silent updating.
However, in the latest Fusion 360 Admin Installer, these parameters seem to have been deprecated.
Could you confirm if there have been alterations to the installer and the available commands? Additionally, are there any new commands we can employ for updating Fusion post-installation via Intune? Our users lack admin privileges, hence they are unable to perform updates independently.
Appreciate your assistance.
@luket8ENCG @In January we replaced the installed with a new one that does not have the 360 in the name. Can you confirm that the package you have downloaded is the new one with out the 360 and of course the command will be without the 360 as well?

Hello @RajkumarIlanchelian,
I appreciate your response. It seems the issue lies not with the name of the installer, as I can adjust that as needed.
The problem appears to be with the parameters themselves, as they no longer function.
Thanks,
Luke
@luket8ENCG @I am positive nothing changed but will ask the installer teams.
So I assume you downloaded the new package without the 360 and ran the command with the name of the new install package and it did. It work, right?

Yes I have downloaded the new package with the correct name in the command. If I run the installer with just the --quiet command it works but if I add --process --update it does not work.
If manually installing the update I find I have the same issues found in these articles. Seems there is problems with the installer and the level of privelege it is being installed with i.e. user, system etc.

@luket8ENCG I checked with our installer team. They recommend using the --process update --quiet
command for deployments.

Hi,
Is there an auto update command/switch for the newest fusion admin installer?
