Fraction rounding up

Fraction rounding up

I used to be able to enter values down to 1/128" in PARAMETERS, but now it seems to round up to the nearest 1/64.  For example, I'll enter 2 101/128", and it will round up to 2 52/64".

How can I enter down to 1/128" (I'd prefer not to use decimals).

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting this. I'm finding that the expression display is going to 64ths while the decimal equivalent is correctly showing 128ths value.

In order for this to work you must use decimal unit display, set in preferences. If you use entirely fractional display, both the expression and the value change to 64ths.

And a couple of other interesting things (that may have been there before) ...

If I enter '1 3/4', the value is shown as '1 3/4"'

If I enter '3/4', the value is shown as '(3/4)*1in

If I enter '0 3/4', the value is shown as '3/4"', but when I exit and bring the parameters back up, the value displays in red.
