Forced to update - Slow as HECK! Not responding

We've noticed this almost every time we are forced to update.
Suddenly every mouse click ends in a revolving pin wheel, "not responding" at the header up top, half the screen goes black sometimes...
Sometimes after 45-90 seconds, it will come back but the next mouse click does the same thing.

I just opened F360 on my laptop (sitting here at the same desk, same wifi, etc) that has not updated yet and it ran flawlessly. I remember this happening last time we were forced to update as well.

Is there anything that can be done here? Im not a tech guy...I just use the software to do my thing. Can we test things further before pushing the update? Hard to make money when you're software doesnt work...

Thanks.

@ArdentIndustries We certainly can look into what could be happening here. With the description that you called out, graphics generally plays a role. We build Fusion with different tools and they do get updated in certain releases.

1. On the machine that you are facing this problem can you see if there are any graphics updates?
2. Is the mouse interactions the one that is slow or are you seeing slowness in any other operations within Fusion as well?

This is the whole program locking up. I get the blue swirling circle and it says "Not Responding" on the top header.

No graphics updates from Nvidia as of now.
Mouse interaction works fine...its just not a mouse pointer, its a blue circle.
