Font style problems OTF TTF Windows 11

I'm trying to use a font style that I had used previously on my old PC (Windows 10) after installing Fusion 360 onto a new computer (Windows 11). When I install the TTF version of the file, I cannot select it in the list of fonts but it will let me edit text and re-render old files that used it. When I install the OTF version I can select it, but it wont render in 3d. I had a work around on Windows 10 where I could install both TTF and OTF, but Windows 11 only lets me have one at a time (presumably due to both having the same name, even with different file extensions). Can someone look into why Fusion does not show installed TTF fonts in the list?

Can the font be extruded?

Nope, there is an error saying "cannot complete extrusion", but only while the OTF version is installed. If I reinstall the TTF version, restart the application, then attempt to use the text tool (or edit existing text) I can no longer select the font from the list, but it will extrude the text(in the case where it was previously typed out in that font).

hi,

1. what font are we talking about?
2. try converting (explode) the font to paths
3. share the file with exploded text

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the next post
