Folder-Level Projects Clarification

Hi All, when I opened Fusion to start the work week I noticed a notification in the Data Panel within Fusion suggesting an upgrade to Folder-Level projects. Reading into it a bit, it appears that, "Projects containing fasteners cannot be upgraded".

Correct me if I am wrong, but I would think that the "Insert Fastener" tool is what's being referenced here. And if so, does anyone have any news as to if this will be changed in the future? Autodesk says in the help article that one should upgrade to "Folder-Level projects for better security and granular control", but that's seemingly not possible if you've used one of their own tools within the files in the project.

Hi temple_dawson,

 thank you for your feedback.

Insert Fastener command is creating special CLOSED project type with restrictions to upgrade to Folders level structure. It has some limitations and we are working on improvement in this area.

Best regards
