I need to understand the sequence of events that are occurring and why.  I created a rectangle and dimension it . If I 'push finish' sketch, all the dimensions, disappear, and I am left with only the rectangle. How do I get the dimensions to appear again? How do I keep the dimensions on a face on a plane in view at all times? Now, the rectangle has center lines, created by putting lines in and adjusting the dimensions. I read that there is a 'center mark tool' on the toolbar menu; but, I cannot find how to make that menu visible.

Thanks,

Joe

The dimensions are normally hidden when you finish a sketch. To see them you have to manually show them by right clicking on the sketch in the browser and select show dimensions.

As far as I know, the Center Mark tool is located in the 2D drawing environment.

Hi,

If it is necessary you can set a point in sketch mode.

Thanks, Gunther. The step to step, moving explanations are the best.

hi @g-andresen  would you mind sharing what are you using to make screengrabs into gifs? and what resolution do you save them as? So far I've been using online EZGIF for converting Video to Gif and on my Mac Gifsky which does great job as well. What I am trying to figure out avoiding the file size limitation and still having a good enough quality for someone to see 🙂

Thanks in advance!
