Flat pattern in drawing, not working from an assembly

Why is it not possible to display a flat pattern of a component present in an assembly when it is possible from a single component?

Hi, could the problem come from the fact that my assembly is not a sheet metal component, as in your example

Hi @mac_ito

It would be always recommended that you create sheet metal component if you are working with sheet metal, since then it is easier to adjust the specific sheet metal parameters when working with the file.

If the body allows to then you could use this feature:

You can re-create this by creating an external sheet metal body, then when you open it, you can make more sheet metal bodies within that sheet metal. Images attached.
There might be an easier way to do this though.
