Flat Pattern Curved Sheet

I think I'm overlooking something here, but I don't know what. Apologies if this is a silly oversight.

Attached is a project file that contains a Flange, extruded from a single curved sketch line.

However, if I go to make a flat pattern, I get an error. FlatPatternAlign1. Is there a reason for the error?

Any reason you're using a spline rather than arc? Sheet metal bodies made with Arcs are a lot easier to produce.
