Fit Curves to Mesh Section Does not work

Trying to fit a curve to a mesh section.  It does not seem top work for me.  One such problem is merely using the closed spline option.  The video attached shows what happens when using it.  Why can't it match exactly to the mesh section?  I also can't get the line option to work but that's another problem.  Is it just me?

The Mesh Section Sketch is not a Closed Spline!  You need to use the proper entity type to trace around the section sketch.  Straight lines to straight lines, arcs to arcs, etc.  The tool cannot read the section sketch correctly unless you select the correct entity type.  You are trying to take a short cut which makes no sense.  Attach your model and someone will show you how to do it if you cannot.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Hmmm,

It is a close spline.  The spline (which is ever call a "close spline" in the pallet) I created in my posted video can be selected and extruded like any other closed section.  It just doesn't match the mesh section very well.

here are two videos demonstrating this functionality.

In the first video go to time stamp 1:14:44.  His curve matches exactly.

In this video notice:

1) after she creates the section she is able to move it.  Strange thing is you can only move/copy it if you select move/copy via the right click on the mouse as she does in the video.  If you select it in the tree or timeline and then chose move/copy from the modify menu you can not move or copy it.

2) her curve matches exactly.

Take a look at this Blog Article and Video to illustrate what I am talking about.
