Firewall doing its job. Fusion gives up on the first try

I have my firewall set to block outgoing connections from unknown applications without my say so.

I get a popup, and if I recognise the app, I allow it through.

Fusion and its various components only ever seem to try and connect once, (or for a very short amount of time?).

By the time I have clicked "Allow", Fusion has given up, and in some cases, the only thing to do is restart the app.

This casuse all sorts of problems, from failed updates to error reports that never get sent.

So if it could just be a little more patient/determined, or had a retry button, that would be great.
