Find In Window Hotkey not Available / Bindable?

I'll be completely honest right at the start, my background for the last 20 years has been in 3D polygonal modeling in programs such as Maya / Max and not solid model programs. So I apologize for any improper terminology. I'm moving to Fusion 360 to create properly dimensioned, 3D printable objects.
I want to be able to focus the viewport as well as the zoom in / zoom out max and min values when working on a small sub-component of an object. For instance, in other polygonal modeling programs, you might use the 'F' key or '.' to focus on an element, zoom in and have your middle-mouse zoom in / zoom outs reset around the object's scale so that small or large features are easy to navigate about and you don't run into that horrible problem where each mouse-wheel scroll barely moves the view.
In my search for similar functionality in Fusion 360, I found you could right-click on the name of the object and use Find in Window. That works for the entire object. However, if I have a small selection in a larger sketch, that doesn't help much.
I then discovered I can make my selection and right-click in the perspective view and also use Find in Window to zoom into that specific part. Great!
However, I like to speed things up and use hotkeys. And since the Find in Window option is in the bottom drop down list and not a gesture command, I have to wait for the window to open and then click it.
I was hoping I could re-bind the command, however that functionality is not exposed anywhere in the interface where I would normally change the binding. As far as I can tell, Fusion 360 does not have a window that presents you with every hotkey which is a bit annoying.
What I really wanted to do was bind the action of 'double-middle-mouse click' to "Find-In-Window of selected component in the perspective view (or any view)" rather than the current functionality of "Find-In-Window of object selected in browser".
I looked online and found a few posts of people trying to use Find-In-Window in scripts however the official reply was that Find-In-Window is not exposed in the API, making me wonder if this is possible.
Is there any solution to my problem? I'm hoping that I'm just too new to the program to see it.
